Not just rehabilitation, but great for all round health

It is a misconstrued conception that water treadmill is aimed at just recovery/ rehabilitation or for building fitness in competition horses, but this is not the case all types of equines can benefit in different ways from water treadmilling, whilst also encouraging the horse to work in a correct manner developing core stability and strength.

The programmes can be tailored by water depth, session length, incline and use of our Equiband Pro system whilst on the treadmill if appropriate. All horses will have their progress monitored via weight, heart rate monitoring and serial measurements of their back musculature. Every horse will unwind under the solarium following their treadmill session whilst we dry their legs.

Experience

The ECB Aqua Treadmill has been designed and built on 21 years of ECB’s experience in equine hydrotherapy. As market leaders of the equine spa it was a natural progression to research and develop the latest technology in water treadmills.

Safety

The treadmill is made from marine grade steel and safety glass and has features such as quick release breast/rear bars, emergency stop control buttons, light beam sensor and the easiest door opening/ closing system.

Cleanliness

The unique triple filtration system provides the cleanest possible water.

Technology

A computer system allowing tailoring of sessions and storage of individual horse’s programmes.

Incline

The treadmill’s incline can be set from 0 – 12%, giving an extra work out for the horse to build top line and the hind muscle groups. The incline works in single increments so you are not asking your horse too much straight away.

Polly – Sacroiliac pain

“Acupuncture has been an absolutely brilliant part of Polly’s journey from SI pain. The change in her has been noticeable – after each treatment she’s more settled in her work, and clearly more comfortable in her body.

Kidson – Arthritis support

“I would definitely recommend Acupuncture and am seriously impressed with how quickly we saw an improvement which was in the first few weeks and he seems to be going from strength to strength. I cant turn his clock back for him as much as I would love to but as an owner I am so happy to be able to provide a treatment that he enjoys and from which he feels the benefit.”

Terry – Acupuncture Horse Owner

“The results of Terry’s acupuncture have been beyond any expectations that I may have had and I will not hesitate to continue treatments. Jo has been really informative, understanding and explanatory and I would highly recommend her if you’re considering acupuncture for your horse.
Thank you Jo!”

Poppy – Tension

“Since starting acupuncture the difference has been amazing. She is noticeably more relaxed, moves more freely and seems much calmer in herself overall. Acupuncture has also played a key role in supporting her recovery from a recent injury. It’s been so encouraging to see such a positive change in her comfort and attitude. It’s certainly something we’ll be continuing with!”
